GFADP and the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Restorative Justice Ministry invite you to join us to hear Sabrina Butler-Smith share her story of wrongful conviction as a teenager, six years of imprisonment and nearly three years spent on Mississippi’s death row before she was granted a retrial and subsequent exoneration.
Since her exoneration, Ms. Butler-Smith has traveled as a speaker for Witness to Innocence. She currently serves on the board for Tennesseans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty as part of her ongoing work for death penalty abolition.
